A cold winter scene taken by Jake many years ago.
This is one of my favorites and we used it on our computer
as wallpaper for a while.Keep warm and enjoy the wonders of each season.

  14. Dear Ruth, I have just had a orgy of catching up on all the posts I have missed on your blog while we were away. I love the snow and hoar frost and absolutely adore the ice flowers on the window. They are all things i miss in Australia.
God has given us so much beauty in this world with every season and time of life presenting new and wonderful gifts for our enjoyment.
Stay well and happy and enjoy this wonderful lead up to Christmas with all the baking and making and gifts to get and wrap.

  15. When I clicked on this winter scene and made it big...I could actually 'feel' myself out for a walk on a cold - yet gorgeous snow day. You know how your nostrils almost stick together in the below zero temps and you have to squint your eyes it is so bright and you hear the crunch of the snow with each step? Thanks for the a beautiful post from Jake's archives!
