I like the motion and flashes of yellow here.
It's fun to try and get the action of the pine siskins. They are always scraping at the feeders and flashing those beautiful yellow under patches of the wings. I like them alot! Beautiful sunrise..
Oh those Siskins are everywhere. Aren't they beautiful, and they make such good photography subjects. Very nice shots in flight.B.
Those little siskins are quite busy at your feeder...and I love that last picture with one little guy in motion! I love when you can watch them all haggle over position on the feeder from inside your home!! That sunrise is quite gorgeous, what colors! wow!
Oh---love that picture of the sunrise.. Beautiful!!!!I have one of those mesh bags--and need to get a couple more. The finches and siskins love those things..Have a good day tomorrow.Hugs,Betsy
You got great pictures of the pine siskins, but I absolutely love the sunrise.
I love your action shots of those fast & feisty little siskins!
That sunrise color is incredible... What an amazing pink! WOWOWOW!!!Hug♥
Love the siskins! And that pink sunrise is wonderful!
A sunrise like that is a good start to the day. I have only seen three Pine Siskins this year and always singly.
Ruth: Wonderful capture of the Pine Sisken and what a pink sunrise. That was truly a work of God.
Those siskins are active, alright! Good job! I'll miss them when they leave...they sure are fun to watch! What a sunrise!! Wow!
Ruth, Maybe we DO have them around here. When we visited this ladies house up near the mountains I saw these sack feeders hanging and many little birds feeding. I'll post it. Great pictures. (My pictures wont be nearly as awesome as yours but you'll get the idea)
The siskins are fun, and that sunrise is gorgeous.
The header is beautiful! Those siskins are such fun to watch as they squabble among themselves. Great photos of their action.
Beautiful series.. I love the bird you captured in flight... Wings have a nice motion effect to it...
Oh, how I wish I would have seen a few pine siskins this year. But so far I've only gotten my lesser goldfinches. And they are turning bright yellow in the past week or two. I guess I'll have to be satisfied with them (and housefinches, titmice, and chestnut-backed chickadees). ;o) I love your photos, Ruth. What an inspiring shot of the sunrise, too.
The sunset is stunning! Just beautiful and amazing. Only God can create beauty like that. And you did a great job capturing it in your photo.
