A Weekend Away

Come with Jake and me as we re-visit Whiteshell Provincial Park,Manitoba
These pictures are from a weekend we spent at this park in 2005.
The picture above is a sunset which kept on getting more beautiful every minute. The photo above as well as the next one
just show some of the beauty in the area.
This was a very peaceful area to spend time in.
Below is 'my'(Ruth's) Bald Eagle
This bird let me get out of the car and shoot away to my heart's content.

Below is a small waterfall which we visited. This one may be for Betsy and George. Sorry guys it is not as spectacular as many of yours, but I like it anyway. The place is called Rainbow Falls. All photos taken by Ruth with a small point and shoot camera The earth is the Lord's,and everything in it. Psalm 24:1

  1. Lovely photos - bringing back childhood memories for me! Summer camps at Lake Nutimik for highlights for me for many years until I married and moved away! Thanks!

  4. Beautiful photos... the sunset is gorgeous.. it warms my soul.
It's so cold here and we have white out conditions with nasty blizzards.
It's nice to see such pretty pictures. I thank you for visiting my blog and your prayers.
    Hugs and kisses...♥

  5. Love the waterfall, Ruth and Jake.. Some of the most gorgeous waterfalls are NOT the huge, spectacular ones.

Have a wonderful trip---and take lots of pictures (including more of the waterfall). BUT--since we're going to be gone all next week, hold the waterfall pictures 'til we get home. Okay?????

    Have FUN.
    Hugs,
    Betsy

  6. I love that first picture, but all of them are beautiful. We may have to put Whiteshell on our list of places to visit. Thanks for thinking of us when you posted the waterfall picture. Some of my favorite waterfalls have been small ones.
