Friendships and Flowers

Friendships,like flowers,
bloom ever more fair,
When carefully tended
by dear friends who care.
Today I say Thank-you to each of you who visit this blog.
Your kindness is like sunshine on my face.
All the flowers in the above collage were taken recently
in the English Gardens in Winnipeg,Manitoba.

  1. Ruth - this photo collage as well as this quote are beautiful! I am thankful that you are my blogging friend as well and love to visit even though most visits are through the google reader and I don't comment. I still appreciate all the beauty you and Jake share in your photos!

  4. Hi Ruth
    A blessing for a friend!

    An Irish Blessing
May the road rise to meet you,
May the wind be always at your back,
May the sun shine warm upon your face,
May the rains fall soft upon your fields,
    And, until we meet again,
May God hold you in the hollow of His hand.

May love and laughter light your days,
and warm your heart and home.
May good and faithful friends be yours,
    wherever you may roam.
May peace and plenty bless your world
    with joy that long endures.
    May all life's passing seasons
bring the best to you and yours!

    Blessings

  7. Your photo's are so beautiful. I just love to look at them. Hope the bus driving is going well. It's another one of those things as teachers, we don't always think about. Around here I know some children are on the bus sometimes 45 minutes before they even arrive to school at 750. That's a long time for some of these 5-10 year olds. It's no wonder some have a hard time adjusting to school! Enjoy your day! May God shower you with blessings. You are such a blessing to me!

It has been decades since I visited the English Garden in Winnipeg! Must really put that on my to-do list when next we visit - which may only be next summer. Thanks so much for that collage of gorgeous flowers!
