Trees

I have read a couple of blogs recently which spoke of trees.
With this in mind I went back to last years pictures and found these trees. The center tree is out in a pasture and has been the subject of many photos.
On the top right is a scene of berries against the bark.
Below that a 'heart' for each of you, courtesy of this tree.
Top left is a row of trees in the school playground.
And finally a cluster of trees in the Research Station just down the street from us.
Trees come in a variety of shapes and sizes, somewhat like people,
but each one serves a special purpose, just like people.

The earth is the Lord's and the fullness thereof.

  2. Great tree collage. The one with the berries looks like the Mountain Ash we saw last week in the Smoky Mountains. Watch for my Skywatch post later today or on Friday.

  4. Beautiful trees...what would we do without them? Always make me think of Joyce Kilmer's poem "Trees". That center shot is really pretty. Thanks for sharing these!

  8. For years and years, I enjoyed a particularly beautiful tree standing alone, tall and straight, in the middle of a field, I think at Grand Valley. Every trip I made sure I wasn't napping when we came near - just to admire God's handiwork. I saw it during every season over the years. Well, that tree landmark is no longer there - for the last 2-3 years I think. I wonder what happened to it. Your collage reminded me that I missed it again on this trip. Thanks for your beautiful post! I found myself a different tree to admire - but enjoy the memory of 'my tree'.
