I Will Lift Up My eyes

 I will lift up my eyes to the hills-
where does my help come from?
My help comes from the Lord,
the maker of heaven and earth.
 He will not let your foot slip-
he who watches over you will not slumber;
indeed,he who watches over Isreal
will neither slumber nor sleep.
 The Lord watches over you-
the Lord is your shade at your right hand;
the sun will not harm you by day,
nor the moon by night.
The Lord will keep you from all harm-
he will watch over your life;
the Lord will watch over your coming and going
both now and forevermore.
Psalm 121

All pictures are by Jake and taken from old slides.

  10. Think and pray for you every day. This morning, around 4, you were on my mind. I picked up my iPod to see if there was any news from you and there was a comment on my own blog.

    Yes where would we be without the help of the Lord? and without the knowledge that His tender compasions are toward us? that His everlasting are around us?

    It is a good thing to serve the Lord of hosts!

  15. How wonderful to see the Majesty and Power of God thru Jake's eyes and his camera.

    Praying God will bless Jake (and you of course as well) for being Jesus with skin on - You are always encouraging so many of us - even though times are so very difficult right now, always pointing us to Him and giving Him the credit for all the wonderful things He has done.

    You are fine examples of Romans 12:10-13
    Be devoted to one another in brotherly love. Honor one another above yourselves. Never be lacking in zeal, but keep your spiritual fervor, serving the Lord. Be joyful in hope, patient in affliction, faithful in prayer. Share with God's people who are in need. Practice hospitality.

    I pray there are those nearby you who are able to in turn treat you as well, that they may lift your burdens, praying with you, visiting, and supporting you.

    Thank you for such a fabulous display of God's strength that is holding you up and your strength and faith in Him in such a hard time.
