More Fall Scenes of 2009

Days are slipping by on me and my posting is not as regular as it should be.
Once again,I take you back to another year.
All the pictures on today's post were taken in 2009.
A few Oak leaves, backlit by the sun, make a good picture.

These wild grapes are quite sour,so we took only pictures and left them for the birds to enjoy.

This is one of my attempts at creativity.
Just one lone head of grass.

The next two pictures were taken at one of our favorite parks in Winnipeg,St.Vital.
I just liked the evergreen boughs against that clear blue sky.

Thought for today:
Time is a very precious gift of God;
so precious that it is only given to us moment by moment.

  1. Lovely shots! I'm quite fond of the single stalk of grass type shots. It seems everything looks good against a deep blue sky!

  5. I really enjoyed these! Makes me consider going through the older albums on my portable hard drive and re-posting some shots from last fall while I wait for new fall color here. Our trees are just beginning to change here in the southern Blue Ridge Mountains.

    Yes, fall is sneaking up on us, and I too am not keeping up on my writing. I somehow have more blog time in the winter.

  19. My heart melted with that quote - and it brought to mind the lyrics of a song:
    "Moment by moment, I am kept in his love"

    I like how your photos are small captures - coinciding with small moments -

    I think you made God smile today! I know I did!
