Easter Wishes

Wow,time does fly.I like to post at least twice a week and already another week is almost gone.
I have had a very busy week and so not much thought or time has gone into computer work.
I will share with you two recent pictures.

I took these the other day,on one of those rare sunny days.
These Crocus grow right beside my door, and bring early spring color to my yard.

As you can see I played with Photoshop a little and added some frames.I have just learned how to use Actions and am having fun experimenting with the different frames.

I want to take this moment to also wish all of you a Wonderful Easter, time spent making new memories with family and friends, and just enough chocolate to keep you happy.

Thought for today:
God,the engineer of all creation,
Spoke the word, and beauty was begun,
Then He gave to us His great salvation
Through the sacrifice of His own Son.

  22. Lol...about just enough chocolate to keep you happy. :) As always this is a beautiful post. You have a knack for inspiring people with your beautiful photos, thoughts and praises. Happy Easter to you, too. Thanks for your prayers...all is well. I thought of you several times when we were close to Canada. I kept seeing Eagles at my dad's and I kept thinking how much you'd enjoy capturing pictures of them. I tried to get one for you, but half of it is out of the frame (guess which half I got..lol. They're fast!).

  39. Happy Easter Ruth. Sorry it's been a while since I've been around, Seems the month of April is going to so quickly. Our one daughter has been having test done, and will be having surgery on Monday the 25th. They thought at first the whole kidney might have to be removed, now the specialist thinks that he can save 2/3 of it. Will know more when he gets in there Monday. He does the robotic type surgery, claims if everything goes as expected, she'll get home the next day. Which I find amazing.

  45. These crocuses are beautiful and cheery little harbingers of spring and I love the way you've framed them. I've been trying to figure out how to make a collage with PhotoShop and I still can't figure it out. Maybe I can figure out how to apply frames.

I hope you had a lovely, blessed Easter day with your family and friends, Ruth.

Interesting--My word verification is "delite"--fitting for these photos!

  51. A wonderful post Ruth. I hope you had a memorable and happy day.
Our weather has been horrible. Cold, and rain almost daily. The only flowers blooming are the Forsythia, and it is drooping.
    Have a great week.
