A Photo and A Praise

Time to give praise again.
Now I do believe it is always a good time to praise God.
Spring is more and more evident here, and for that I am thankful.

May you find much to give thanks and to praise God for.

On a side note,I have had quite a few spam comments recently,so I am using word verification again.
Sorry for any inconvenience.

  4. Hi Ruth, I love those little Crocuses... They are so pretty---and a definite sign of Spring. Ours are long gone here...

BUT--I remember when our Crocuses first bloomed. I was as happy as you are now. Congrats, Ruth.. It's spring.....

    Great verse also.
    Hugs,
    Betsy

  9. Gorgeous colours Ruth ! I 'found' my only 2 crocuses in bloom today too - always a nice sign of spring. And spring also reminds us to praise the Creator of all this beauty - very appropriate text !

  15. absolutely stunning photo. i had turned off the verification word and just like you the spam went crazy last week. most of the spam goes to the filter, but one got stuck on a really old post from a year ago and kept bombarding me with emails. i had to turn the word on to make it stop. it was the same one over and over.

  29. This is the time of year I dream about all winter long. I'm trying to finish building my greenhouse in time for it to do us some good yet this spring. I'm starting tomatoes in our sunny dining room windows along with salad greens and it's about time to put the seed potatoes in the ground. Now, if it would just quit raining for a bit I could rototill the garden beds... soon hopefully.

I like your sharp focus on the crocus bulbs against the softened background. Masterfully done.

  32. Beautiful little crocus--first sign of Spring. I think you can officially say Spring is here. Much more to follow!!! Unfortunately, warm weather means much more yardwork--I love doing it, but I usually "run out of steam" before it is all done. Have a lovely day. Mickie :)

  35. I was doing a scripture search on"Peace in the Storm" when I was directed to your blog. It is so beautiful! I dabble in photography and appreciate the beauty of your photos.

I am so sorry for your loss. :(

It looks like you are coming into a new spring in your own life as the pain recedes. God has some awesome plans for you. Don't give up!

  36. THis one is a beauty! Love the green behind the letters - and the 3d-ish effect of the font. Of course I am very partial to green anyway - but the purple and yellow are so brilliant and love the water drops too!

    Very well done!
