Photo and Praise

Tuesday has rolled around again and the time to think on praise.
Many days it would be so easy to give in to complaining and fretting, but that is not what God wants of me.
The Psalmist uses the words,"I will".Praise is a choice and I will choose to give praise for what I have and the blessings given to me.

This sunset picture was taken in July of 2010.
God pulled out all the stops on that day,as He closed the day.

  19. Glorious sunset! It is easy for us to get caught up in what we don't have and forget the many blessings we do have. When we count all the good things in our lives we find we are blessed indeed.

  25. Ruth,
I keep thinking about you because the Manitoba floods have been mentioned every half hour on the radio news. I am hoping you are far, far away from the disaster.

  33. Beautiful sunset. Sorry haven't been around much, it seems I'm busy all the time and don't spend as much time on the blogs as I did. I do try to check out Facebook everyday. The 10th of May was our son's 54th. Birthday, his sister will be 55 on June 1st and another sister will be 53 on July 5th. I was very busy those first three years. Also used cloth diapers and a wringer washer, no dryer. Things we can do when we have to. LOL Then we have a daughter that turned 49 in March, she's the one that had part of a kidney removed last month, with the new robotic type surgery, thank goodness, even though the kidney doctor had never seen anything that looked like that tumor, it was not cancer. and we have our surprise package that will be 38 on June 27th. This daughter and our granddaughter 11, are living with us at the present time.
