I have a few more pictures from my recent visit to the English Gardens.I hope you don't get tired of seeing the same place over and over again.

Here is one of the many white moths that are around this year.
He shows up well against the brightly coloured Lantana.
Thanks to my blogging friends who told me the name of this flower.

I had to put in just one more picture of the Clearwing Moth.
He too, seemed to enjoy the Lantana.

This beautiful white Lily was putting on a great show.
I liked the little details on the petals.

Zinnias grow beautifully at the gardens.I have never seen them grow as tall as they do here.

Last but not least is a colourful Waterlily leaf.

I have some more pictures from this visit, and sometime I will do a post showing the Coleus.

Thought for today:
A cheerful heart is good medicine.
Proverbs 17:22

  1. You know I never tire of seeing all these precious things the Lord has made and knowing where you got the photos adds extra joy! That clear wing moth intrigues me - not that I'm partial to moths fluttering around me! The white Lily is so interesting with the spiky raised areas. Have a great Labor day!

  25. Ruth--Your photos are just so well done. The English Garden is such a wonderful spot. Looking forward to your shots of the coleus. Last time I was there they seemed to grab my attention more than any of the other plants. Would love to see you share some of the Leo Mol sculptures as well in their wooded settings.

  35. I love the photos of the white moth and the clearwing moth against the Lantana flowers--very striking! I remember those flowers from when I was a teen and went over to some neighbors' house to do watering when they were on vacation. There were always loads of little butterflies and moths enjoying the Lantana flowers in their back yard.
