Playing With Picasa

I have had some fun playing with the collage maker in Picasa.
It does a good job of making a collage and is ever so easy.

This first collage is all about the Peonies in my garden.
These flowers are full and beautiful, but often succumb to a heavy rain.
iI am thankful I got these pictures before the rain caused the flowers to hang their heads.

Daisies are so simple yet so charming.
I had to make a collage of them, because my dear Jake loved his Daisies.
He had a hard time mowing down any daisy plants that showed up in the lawn.
Needless to say, we had a lot of patches of these flowers on the lawn.

Thought for today:
Some people, like flowers, give pleasure, just by being.

Isn't Picasa great! Beautiful peonies and wonderful daisies. I have a hard time pulling up anything that is growing too. One year the daisies just about took over my garden. Lovely collages.

i will have to look for that function in picasa. i've only used it a few times to edit photos, but nothing fancy. :) i love the daisies, too, and your jake and i would have mowed the same way... :)

Your peony collage is so gorgeous and elegant and the daisy one is more like me casual and fun loving! When I see daisies I always say, HE loves me, HE loves me - and there is NEVER a HE loves me not!!

The Peony collage is gorgeous, especially the center picture! My favorite peony is the one in the lower left. The daisies have their own, different kind of wilder beauty. Jake would have been very proud of this collage!

I would have a hard time deciding which one of these collages I like the best Ruth. Isn't Picasa fun? Diane

Your collages are really nice Ruth. I will have to check Picasa out one of these days. Love the smell of the peonies and I love Daisies. I am fascinated how wild daisies can grow almost anywhere and survive. Nothing to see them between a rock and a hard place, and still reach out to the sky soaking in whatever comes its way.:)

Thank you for your thoughts and prayers Ruth. I appreciate it.
Hope to find you well, and your pictures are just Beautiful.
Hugs Dianne :)

Your collages are gorgeous! I always use Picasa for collages. It does make it easy. Both your peonies and daisies are so beautiful and such a bright splash of color, always welcome at this time of year. We've got some warm weather flowing in from Canada this week and today was up to 44F. Things are starting to melt, but who knows how long it will last.

These are beautiful. Peonies are in a class all by themselves. Mine were always larger than my hand - magnificent flowers. I love your daisies - they photograph so well against the blurred green background!

Oh, so bright and cheery, especially the daisies, though I love the colors of the peonies! I'll have to check out the collage maker on Picasa. I hadn't noticed it before.
