It's Monday and that's as good a reason for some more bright flowers as I can think of.
If one rose is pretty, than a collage of roses should be better.
The beloved hymn "In the Garden" says, "I come to the garden alone, while the dew is still on the roses," then describes meeting Jesus there: "And He walks with me,and He talks with me,and He tells me I am His own.
Another collection of flowers, both in the garden and in the field.
When the day is overcast and gloomy,it's not because the sun has gone away.
God is the same:When our way is dark,He is still there and we are very much in His thoughts.
The thoughts are taken from a perpetual calendar called:
365 Great things About Nature.

They are all so beautiful it is hard choosing a favorite! The first collage is my favorite. Is the pink one on the lower left a Knockout rose?

Beautiful flowers. I am hoping we have a good wildflower season this year.
Beautiful collages, Ruth! In the Garden is such a beautiful hymn.
i love the yellow flower on the bottom collage, 2nd down from top on left... daddy and i used to sing I come to the garden and harmonize and make the people listening cry. it is such a beautiful song. i am alton and daddy was tenor... we sounded pretty good for a small country church. they had nothing to compare us to back then.
I remember singing that song when I went to the Baptist church. Your analogy about the cloudy day is wonderful, as are your collages. So many pretty flowers you've showcased. :)
I love the way you combined your pictures of roses with that old hymn....and your words of wisdom to go along....You have encouraged me today with your beautiful flowers and your cherry reminder that God never leaves us....
Beautiful flower collages! Reminds me of Spring! Great thought for today!
a beautiful variety of color!
Such an encouraging sight. My uncle used to sing that song.
Thank you dear Ruth for the lovely photos and the uplifting thoughts to go with them. Every once in awhile that old hymn will run through my mind when I'm out in the garden.

Beautiful flowers, Ruth. I love that old hymn. I could listen to it every day. Thanks. Diane
Both collages are stunningly beautiful and should be hanging on a wall in your home.
Such pretty collages, Ruth. You sure know how to brighten up a gloomy day.
I love these words. God is always there. I'm glad to be back and to be able to stop by your place. One of my favorite places to visit...
have a good week.

Those are such lovely collages - LOVE the roses one though! We just sang In The Garden at hymn sing last week because we are so tired of the snow and looking forward to the garden and its beauty. When we sing that one in the dementia unit - they ALL sing along from memory!
They brighten my day! Beautiful!!!
Thank you for providing a cheerful garden of flowers to brighten our day! Beautiful!!!!
Your collages would be wonderful framed and hung on a wall.

These flowers make me smile...and yes I need to remember He is always there, even on gloomy days

Two beautiful collages, Ruth! But then, your flower photos always are.
Those are gorgeous. However, they make me long for spring.
Beautiful montage of colour, Ruth. Even more cheerful when seen in wintertime. And a great quote.
I haven't thought about that song in years, but the words came flooding back to me as soon as I read he title! The pictures make me excited for spring!
Oh how I love In The Garden. One of the precious hymns I can still hear my mom singing.
