Happy Birthday Steve

Today is April 4,nothing that special about this day, except that 40 years ago on this day I was anxiously waiting for my baby to be born. During the night,in the wee hours of April 5 my son entered this world. Today we celebrated his special day.

This is not the best picture of Steve, but it was taken earlier tonight at his house.Several of his friends were there and Linda obviously was having a good laugh at something.

This is my son,all grown up and being a very good Daddy to his daughter,Kai.
Kai looks quite comfortable, watching TV from her Daddy's back.

Here is another picture of the roses I brought home from the store the other day.

No,this is not a flower. This is a close-up of a pillow I have in my living room.It does look like a large Dahlia. The colour is not quite true,it is more burgundy than this picture shows.

We were treated to a most delicious chocolate -peanut butter cheesecake at Steve's party,so the thought for today is quite fitting.

Share your last piece of chocolate with a friend.

  21. Mmmm, chocolate peanut butter cheesecake! Sounds yummy. Amazing how quickly the years go by. My youngest two will be 40 this summer, and my oldest 48. Each year seems to whiz by faster too.....
