Flowers at Red Deer

I promise, this is the last post from Red Deer,Alberta.
My cousin, who lives about an hour away from Red Deer, came to spend some time with me on Thursday at noon.First we went out for lunch and then she took me to City Hall and a beautiful flower garden there. She knew I love flowers so this was a great place to spend a few hours. We walked, enjoyed the flowers and enjoyed chatting.
What follows are a few of the beauties I saw.I hope you enjoy them.
I won't make any comments about the individual flowers, except to say that this was a  very lovely place to spend some time.

I leave this song with you. It is my all-time favourite song by my favourite quartet.
Enjoy!

  9. Is the first yellow flower a sunflower of sorts? It is so pretty! Also I was stunned by the big circle of flowers, wow! And your sunny tigers soaking up the sun, so beautiful.

  10. I love the first and last pictures and the round flower bed with such a riot of colors. It always amazes me how someone can plan a bed to have such beautiful designs. Loved the video, too. Were you the videographer? It looked as if Scott was singing right to you part of the time.

  11. Ruth, Please don't feel bad --or apologize-- for your trip posts. I love them--and can't get enough of them.. I have learned to do my blog for ME --and the people who enjoy it, will enjoy it. We can't please everyone --so we don't need to try. It's OUR BLOG... Yours??? I LOVE IT....

Wow--what fabulous flowers. That was a marvelous garden. Love all of the colors... MY kind of place!!!!!! Thanks!

    Great song...
    Hugs,
    Betsy

  12. Flowers are so pretty, aren't they? They do cheer me up. Yours certainly did! We have city gardens here but sadly, they just don't seem to be taking care of them as well as they used to in past years. Have a good weekend! ♥

I can easily understand why this group is a favorite of yours. The song is wonderful.
