Snow Beautiful!

On February 10th,we had some rain, which resulted in ice on the trees and after that the snow started. Now those icy branches caught an held every little flake of snow. The results were a winter wonderland.
I will let you scroll through the pictures and enjoy the beauty. That's about all I can do right now as well.
As many of you know,I fell a coupe of days ago and sprained my left ankle, hurt my knee and just generally got shook up.I am wearing a big old boot cast and have been ordered to stay off my foot as much as possible.

I should say that these are all taken in color, but end up looking more black and white than color.

This is at our local lake and is a pretty road at almost any time of year.

The various trees collect snow in different proportions and together they make a lovely scene.

I know that I have shared this before, but I think it bears repeating.
ALL CREATION IS AN OUTSTRETCHED FINGER,POINTING TOWARD GOD.

  9. I'm so sorry to hear that you fell. I broke an ankle once and have no desire to do it again. I hope you heal quickly.

Snow and ice, although dangerous, is so wonderful to look at. Since retiring, one of the things I really appreciate is that I don'to have to drive when they roads are bad. If you drive a school bus, I know you are much braver than me.

  11. I'm sorry to read about your fall, Ruth. Hope the pain subsides soon and you get healed up quickly. I love your winter scenes. The snow and ice does make everything look beautiful, but I don't like to be out in it...too dangerous for me who has a bad ankle from a fall on ice years ago. Please be careful if you have to go out and stay warm!

  13. OUCH!! Been there, done that! Once I fractured my foot in 5 places so had to wear a "Frankenstein" boot. It threw my walk off that I fell on outside steps in front of house (headed to Dr!) and I damaged my knee. Had to have surgery on it later!

  15. Oh Ruth...I am so sorry to hear about your fall! It does shake you up a bit, doesn't? I fell yesterday and busted my backside good! We don't have nearly as much as your beautiful snow but the 3 steps down into the garage were covered with a few inches of frozen sleet...looked like snow to me and I wasn't thinking. Down I went and am now sporting a lovely bruise that will only grow in beauty for the next few days...lol! I certainly hope your ankle and knee will heel quickly! And of course, it goes without saying but I surely will...your photos are breathtaking...they are saying "Peace, be still". Have a wonderful weekend and stay safe and warm!
