Springtime Greens and More

Springtime colors are so fresh and vibrant.I already have so many pictures of newly emerging leaves, but each year I get more.
I don't usually show so many pictures in one post, but in order to get caught up I feel the need to do that.

Words will be few,so enjoy the photos as they are.

Double-crested Cormorant peeking over the grasses.

Oak leaves and flowers.

Early spring at the creek.

A fallen tree and a few blades of grass, make a nice contrast.

Hooded Merganser.

One of my favourite spring sights.

Green on green.

One of the Thrushes.

Ornamental Flowering Crab Tree.

Beauty in the details.

Just remember, even your worst days only have twenty-four hours.

  8. Beauty in the details...great shot. The quote is very appropriate for us right now. Doug continues to have terrible pain following his kidney stone surgery. Some days feel as if they'll never end.

  9. Love your focus on a lush green spring, Ruth. That Crab Apple blossom is beautiful. I'm liking the 14-150 lens! All the photos on my last post were taken with it. I even did a 5 mile hike with it today - it's so lightweight. I love having a longer zoom again.

  13. You have captured spring so beautifully, Ruth. I like the quote and think that one would be good to frame and hang up as a reminder because we all have those days occasionally!

Hard to pick a favorite, but just possibly the last one ... it's just stunning! Now, thank you for your comment on my Liebster Award post. I left you a reply on there. Hope you have a great day and take care!

  18. Spring is such a pretty time, I agree, and it's so hard to post all the photos I take at this time of year. I see that spring has been gorgeous in Manitoba.
