July Skies

As we say good-bye to July and hello to August,I will share some skies from the month of July.
Looking to the sky will yield a never ending display of beauty and diversity.

This is a typical rural Manitoba scene. The round bales with a backdrop of green and towering thunder clouds,is always a pretty sight.

Just another rural scene. This looks peaceful to me.

A place I visit frequently,it is close to where I live and the scene changes almost as regularly as the weather.

I may have an unusual fascination with train tracks, but I can explain that. Jake loved trains and had a large model railroad layout in our basement, hence my interest in trains and tracks.

I love the clouds in this shot.Blue sky and white puffy clouds make for a perfect scene.

Closing Thought:
You will be known forever by the tracks you leave.

  1. i say this every time ... but you really do give me chills with the quotes you pick. thank you!! love that! i try to remind myself of that every day. being a Christian in a word with folks who don't always follow your view or what not is tough. it is tough to explain to them why you believe what you believe. when maybe you don't always understand things for yourself. i never ever wish to offend or make some one sad but it is tough when you have what you were bought up on & how your views constantly change ... life is just tough. i appreciate you always making me think, not only with your words, quotes, pictures, awesome amazing views. thank you for mentoring to me. you have no clue how much i appreciate it & probably so many others do too!! enjoy your weekend. take care. 4. Beautiful, peaceful scenery! Have to go a long way to see that down here. We are becoming more overly populated every day.

Thanks for sharing the beauty that surrounds you and the great quote.

  5. Pictures of blue skies & puffy white clouds are perfect to take out of my memory bank during the long winter months & savor the contrast of the many shades of colour & also to imagine the warm summer breeze. Will enjoy these summer days now.

  11. I have seen hay bales rolled up like that and encased in white plastic. They look like a field of big marshmallows!
