Special Light/Special Moments

I find that there is nothing much more relaxing than sitting and waiting for the sunset.
The world seems to hush as the sun sinks low on the horizon.

The golden light of sunset is beautiful and different every day.

The local lake is one of my favorite sunset destinations.Seeing the sunset over the lake creates a double beauty.

Of course special light happens not just at sunset.I really like the light in this shot.

The evening sun cast a golden glow on these trees.

As the daylight fades, the deer tend to come out. This is a good time for the deer, but not for the photographer.I did the best I could, yet still this picture is far from perfect.
Seeing this doe,on the other hand, was a special moment.

Closing thought:
The God who created the universe is the God who loves you.

Who needs fireworks when God has given us so much beauty by just looking at his skies. : )

  5. Oh My---love your header... Those colors are awesome!!!!!

I too love sunsets--and all of the colors on earth around the time of a sunset.. I notice it more now that we are walking on the golf course about that time each night... Every night is DIFFERENT.... God is SO good and give us so much to be thankful for.

Your deer picture is GREAT... I have a similar one I took yesterday of a little fawn... They are HARD to capture...

    Hugs,
    Betsy

  7. I love that first image especially. And what a treat to see the deer at the end of the day. If only wildlife would come out while there was still enough light for good photos. :)

  9. Love your late day photos. We have haze from the fires in Canada, the winds are blowing the smoke southward. Have a wonderful 4th.

  13. All bright and beautiful...the good Lord made them all. You may not think the picture of the deer is a good one, but I quite like it. May I copy it? I think I would like to paint it. (A challenge, but I'd like to try.) Cheers.
