Anticipating Spring Beauty

As we are inching ever closer to spring,I take a look back to pictures taken a few years ago.

The blue sky enhances every picture, especially when there are still no leaves on the trees.

Most of the pictures in today's post were taken a few blocks from my home, proving once again that beauty is all around us. The previous picture and the next two were taken in the local park.

I love the effect it gives when I stand close to a tree trunk and point the camera straight up.

This picture is an early spring picture from St.Vital Park,in Winnipeg.

This final picture is literally a few feet from my front door. The Maple tree stands in the middle of my yard. Those new leaves are so perfect.

Closing Thought:
True wisdom begins and ends with God

  5. Inching toward Spring is correct... Every single day, we can tell differences, with everything popping up all around us... There are more flowers growing, budding, blooming. The big trees are beginning to get new leaves... Oh how I love spring.

Great group of photos.. Love the leaves in your last picture, and I love the reflections.

    Hugs,
    Betsy

  7. Beautiful spring pictures. Pretty colors of blue, white, and green in that first one. I too love the perspective of looking straight up a tree.

  8. i love that looking up that gorgeous tree, way way up.. and leafless trees against beautiful sky, blue and sunrise and sunset make me happy. i drive slow on the way home from the pool each morning to admire the palm frond against the breaking of day... your quote at the end about true wisdom made me think about King Solomon. i have been reading about him and i feel so much better reading the old testament becasue even the wisest of them all still did dumb stuff and made mistakes.. made me feel better about myself

  13. Spring, it seems to me, walks the slowest of all the seasons, and takes a long time to make up her mind whether to stay. Your pictures are quite beautiful. Warm hugs to you.
