Happy Easter

It is Easter Sunday, the day we celebrate the glorious resurrection of Jesus Christ.
All around us we still see very little,if any,new life, but we know that it will come.

The ice may be gone from the lake but the trees are still waiting to put on their new green garments.

In a very short time now,we will begin to see evidence of new life.

Trees will be sending forth new growth. It's a wonderful time of year.

Shortly we can expect to see new growth pushing its way up from the ground.

Regardless,of what we see outside and what the temperature may be,today we can celebrate because Jesus is alive.

Because He lives I can face tomorrow!

  3. I am thankful for Jesus as he blesses me every day. I would normally be in church but my car has been in the shop for 2 day and will not be fixed until tomorrow afternoon. So am giving thanks at home.

  7. Happy Easter, my Friend... Beautiful Post... Amazing how Easter and Spring just go together perfectly.... New life for us --and New life all around us!!!!! It would be hard to celebrate Easter in the Fall, wouldn't it? HE LIVES..... Alleluia.

  9. Blessed are those who, though they have personally not seen the nail-prints nor the scar in His side, still believe in Him because of the message passed down through the ages.

  10. Easter is my favorite holiday. Jesus is alive. He lives in me, He cares for me, He lifts me up, as He does for all who believe in Him.

Happy Spring and living in God's grace and tender mercies. His creation is awesome.

  15. Ruth, lovely images! I'm glad spring is here! I love to see all the new life. I used to think Fall was my favourite season, but as I get older I find I enjoy Spring for it's regenerative qualities, and not just outside! Happy Easter!

  16. Beautiful photos...a lonely trail in the woods is pretty in any season, isn't it? I love seeing the new growth popping out from something that looks dead or dormant...such as the way life can be! Our God is amazing!

  17. Happy Easter. it was a quiet one. the hubby & i got away for a quick camping trip. the 1st weekend Easter trip we have ever taken. it was odd not being with the family. but we will be together again soon. i think moss is the oddest stuff, they always say it grows on the North side of things, but i don't agree ... it is all over the place and not always on the North side??! weird?
