Earth Laughs in Flowers. ~Ralph Waldo Emerson

Earth laughs in flowers. ~Ralph Waldo Emerson
Take a minute or two and look and listen to the flowers and insects.

Today is a beautiful day simply because God made it.

If you want to feel rich, just count all the gifts you have that money can’t buy.

All these pictures are from my yard.

So much beauty, but I must take the time to enjoy it.

This was really a small toadstool, but I think it's pretty.

Finally,I have a dear friend,Betsy who is celebrating her birthday on August 5.
She follows this rule:
Live  your life and forget your age.
Shhh, this is our secret, don't tell her I sent you.
Happy Birthday Betsy, hope your day is GREAT,just like you are.

  3. Beautiful pictures. Sometimes I find myself watching ants, if you can believe it. I wonder what they are doing, is there a reason for their running in circles, going a few inches in one direction then circling back to recheck an area where they already had circled.

  4. I would have loved to have a picture of you taking a picture of that tiny toadstool! The captures of the flowers and insects are beautiful, and I love the Emerson quote you chose to go with this post. Great shot of the little damselfly.

And, to be honest, I don't think I've ever seen a dragonfly atop a BLOSSOM before...extraordinary image. All of them actually.
