Merry Christmas to All

For this CHRISTMAS post,I go back two years, when I was privileged to be in Nashville right after Christmas.The pictures may be  two years old but the beauty remains the same. Enjoy the sights as you read the words of the old familiar carol,"Hark the Herald Angels Sing".

Hark the herald angels sing,
"Glory to the newborn King!"

Peace on earth, and mercy mild,
God and sinners reconciled

Joyful, all ye nations, rise,
Join the triumph of the skies;

With th' angelic host proclaim,
"Christ is born in Bethlehem."

Hark! the herald angels sing,
"Glory to the newborn King!"

 Christ, by highest heav'n adored:
                               Christ, the everlasting Lord;
                              Late in time behold him come,
Offspring of the favoured one.
.

Veil'd in flesh, the Godhead see;
Hail, th'incarnate Deity:
Pleased, as man, with men to dwell,
Jesus, our Emmanuel!
Hark! the herald angels sing,
"Glory to the newborn King!"

All photos taken at the Gaylord Opryland Hotel in Nashville.

  23. Ruth, Merry Christmas to you! Hope you had a wonderful day with your family! And I hope the New Year's leads you wherever you heart desires! I'm a bit late with my wishes for you, but only because I have been under the weather and haven't been able to get onto the computer. Today is the fist time in well over a week. Read of an impending blizzard in Manitoba. Hope you're all snug as a bug! It Snowed all day here too, today! Suppose to turn into rain this evening. It's already above 0 for the first time in a week and I think the rain will be here soon. All the best to you! Robin
