Health Update

Bear with me folks,I will get back to posting pictures again, but right now that is not a priority.
Jake is still in hospital. Some good news, the stomach is clear of cancer.
He has had 6 liters of fluid removed since Monday, and that is worrisome.
He still has no pain, for which I praise the Lord.
I do believe he is handling this much better than I am.
It is so painful to see the love of my life and my best friend
going through this trial.
I do know that God is in control, and we both feel the prayers of others bearing us up.
Thank-you to each one who is praying,we love you.
It's off to bed to get some rest and then back to Jake's bedside tomorrow.

Oh, Ruth, this is major good news!! Since there's no cancer, It seems that whatever is causing this, they will be able to deal with it. I hope Jake gets a diagnosis and some relief soon, you are both still in my prayers. Please try to get some rest while he is in the hospital with others to look after him. I have just e-mailed Betsy and alerted her to this update,we've both been so concerned.

Dearest Ruth, I am glad to hear that there is no cancer in Jake's stomach. Hope they can get all of the fluid out --and then find out there it is coming from ... I know this is hard for you. I can only imagine me going through something similar with George...

God Bless You, Dear Friend. Just know that my love and prayers and loads of HUGS are with you constantly. Hang onto God... God will bring you through this hard time in your life...

MUCH Love,
Betsy

Do hope and pray you have a good night's rest that you can be at Jake's side again tomorrow. Praying the same for Jake - that he would be able to rest so that his body can heal. Sure hope and pray that what is causing all this fluid retention will be revealed and be able to be treated. Thank you so much for taking the time to update on everything. Lots of love and hugs,
Karin

Oh Ruth - praying you and Jake continually feel God holding you in his arms. Thanks for updating.
Now prayers are directed so that the doctors and specialists can find an accurate diagnosis - and plan of treatment.

Praying Jake continues to be pain free and that you both are given an extra measure of endurance and stamina and patience too - as you wait on medical personnel and God.

My dear friend, I didn't know about Jake. I haven't been around as much as I should, and I really have no excuse, but now I am here, and you can bet I'll be praying for Jake and you. I know you have very strong faith and it will get you both through these rough times.
Take care.
Becky

Amaryllis and Flicker

Well before Christmas I bought several Amaryllis bulbs. They produced beautiful flowers to brighten the winter landscape, indoors, of course...
