Hi Ruth, As much as I love ROSES, I also like many, many other beautiful flowers. It takes variety in this life, don't you think????Great post.Hugs,Betsy
keep on designing for us.. these are awesome. i lean towards the tiny little flowers with lots of green more than the gorgeous roses. i like cut flowers, wild ones best of all. i need to get out to Emerson Point and see if the blanket flowers are blooming.I just saw Robins comment and i agree.. Exquisite!
They're all lovely Ruth, thanks for sharing them with us!
Oh Ruth, these are georgous!!! My favorites are the second one, that bautiful pale pinbk bud, and the water drops on the petals. I think you even caught the reflections of the water drops!!
As I paged down and saw each photo, I didn't think each one could get more gorgeous than the latter. Then when I read the author of the quote, my heart swelled a bit - St. Therese (the little flower) is my patron saint. :)
Ruth, you cheered me up on this gray drizzly day with no electricity. The flowers are absolutely gorgeous! I love the way you have artistically framed them. When I saw your title for this post, a song we sometimes sing in church came to mind...It starts with "The splendor of the King, robed in majesty, let all the earth rejoice, all the earth rejoice..." I think it's called "How Great Is Our God."
Those roses are all gorgeous Ruth. Those colours are so beautiful
Ruth, I just found your blog - I think it is beautiful!my photography blog

Wonderful! LOVE it.
How simple and beautiful. And each flower is just breathtaking. Diane
You make it too tough to pick a favorite, Ruth. These are stunningly beautiful. That head-on shot of the lily is amazing. The sentiment expressed in the accompanying words is lovely, as well.
You know how much I love roses, but all of these flowers are exquisite. The quote contains a great deal of truth that can be applied to us as well. Our lives are made more beautiful by the unique individuals around us.
Gorgeous. Flowers are always nice to look at.
Stunning pictures of these flowers. Of course, the rose is my very favorite.
