Spring Blooms To Brighten the Day

It is a cloudy day, with a forecast for rain and possibly some storms.
I need something to brighten my day.How about you,can you stand some images that brighten and give hope?
I thought you might say yes,so here we go.

What is better to bring some light into the day, than the apple blossoms ready to open.Apple blossoms may not have bright colour, but they  hold the promise of things to come.

Yes,these pictures were taken a few weeks ago,but the beauty remains the same.

I love the soft blush of these buds. When I look at these I can imagine the delicious apples that will follow.

Not only the apples are blooming, but the cherry tree also sports pretty blossoms.
I already know that I will likely not get to enjoy too many of these cherries, but the birds will love them and that's ok with me.

The maple seeds are sporting pretty colour. I am always drawn to the soft and pretty colours of spring.
I love seeing the details in these seeds.

All of these pictures were taken with the Canon SX50 camera.

Thought for Today:
A beautiful garden with fruit trees in attendance,
is like nature's royal court in session.
It practically begs, "Come commune with God!"

I hear the faint rumble of thunder in the distance and hope there will be some rain here.
Your photos carry so much beauty.

The last picture is totally stunning, the colors on what we used to call helicopter pods and the sun, it is just beautiful. You were the ONLY one who guessed Love-In-A-Mist! I am impressed!

Your picture of the maple seeds is just stunning. But those pesky little things sure do clog our gutters. :)

We grow apple trees at the nursery, but we never get to see the blossoms. The trees are shipped out during their dormant stage. :( Praying for the areas near and around Alberta. I saw the pictures and there has been a lot of damage.

Oh, I loved seeing those photos - after seeing all the photos of disasters. Both kinds of photos should turn us in praise and petition to our Lord though, right?! Sounds like the new Ikea in Winnipeg is flooded!! Is that rain as well? Keep happy! Just getting over my horrible sinus cold and chest congestion and finally stopped my 'barking' cough today. Things are looking up!

Gorgeous photos, Ruth! We've been very hot and sunny. We could use a little rain to cut down the fire danger.

these are fantastic. i just came in from communing with God, i walked, swam and watched the squirrels eating our golf ball sized avocados, 4 of them racing up and down.. and 3 cardinals and a bird i have never seen before that makes a clicking noise... we are in our rain season and every thing is green and the flowers are covering the bushes...

Beautiful fruit tree blossoms and colorful maple seeds. The birds got all of our cherries...we've sort of given up on trying to harvest them before the birds do! But we will have quite a few apples...they've begun to grow, just little green balls right now.

How beautiful the hairy coats on the apple blossom buds are. Apple blossom is one ot the delights of spring with it's delicate blush of pink and just as delicate fragrance.

Gorgeous flowers! Our apple blossoms delight me also, although our climate is too warm for good fruit to set. Cherries and maples I haven't seen in real life - delightful.
