Amur Maple Beauty

The Amur Maples on my yard are finally showing their best side.

I have no explanation as to why one tree is yellow and the other red,but I do like it that way,

I like all the variations of color as well.

Here is a leaf which is still almost green.

The picture quality is not the best because I used my iPhone.

I am also posting this from the phone so we'll see how it works.

Thanks for all your kind comments on my previous post. I appreciate each one of you,my friends.

I find nothing wrong with the picture quality. They are beautiful trees, though I have never heard of the Amur variation. But your second picture of the one leaf, it is wonderful!!!! The shading, the spots, and the colors, all so beautiful.

There are lots of different maples and you obviously have a couple of different varieties... I love Maples in the Fall. To me, they are one of the prettiest trees around this time of year.

Great photos.
Hugs,
Betsy

Such wonderful colours in your yard Ruth and the details of the leaves are wonderful too. There is so much to investigate in any single leaf and all of it is there for us to enjoy. It so reminds me of our cross Canada trip from East to West in a magical October years ago.

Oh, I love the blend of red and yellow in the first photo. So pretty. Your iPhone does fine work. Of course, your photographer's eye might have something to do with that.

Thank you dear Ruth for these glimpses of autumn. We don't see this down here in s.e. FL, so it's always a treat for me.

The iPhone does a great job. I wouldn't have known if you hadn't mentioned it. You're so fortunate to have such beautiful fall colors.

I love the two colors of your maple trees. I have no complaint about the quality of these pictures. Your iPhone is as good at posting as it is at taking pictures.

Lovely! I also liked your photos in the last post from Morden Park. I'm sure Jake was by your side in spirit. What a lovely place for a last walk with him.
