Fall Splendor

Time for one more walk in the Morden area,to see the pretty fall colors.

I enjoy Lake Minniwasta most any time, but it is especially pretty in fall.

This is a fairly small lake but it has great importance to the city.We get most of our water from here.

A small park within the city limits is Livingston Park.I went for a short talk here and even though the colour was not spectacular it was still pretty.

The Morden Park, which has a playground and baseball diamond is the most used park.I enjoy it because it has lots of tree and natural beauty. This bridge crosses the creek. Here I like how the railing of the bridge draw the eye to the trees on the far side.

Back on my own yard the Sumac in all it's beauty in fall. This is the only reason I still have this shrub. I love the fall display it puts on.

By now most of the leaves have dropped and so have the temperatures.
The next pieces of beauty will come when we have snow on the ground.

God is our safe place where we can rest and be encouraged.

As always, you share some of the best photos ever. You do a super job with your camera. What I was referring to in my post today, the end of the acorn has a cute little face.

Oh so that's called sumac. I've seen a lot of that around here and think it is so very pretty.
I'd like to go walking across that bridge. Love footbridges.

So, so pretty, Ruth. I especially liked the picture of the path and trees in Livingston Park and the bridge and trees in Morden Park. And your sumac leaves are brilliant!

I would love to travel up North during the Fall time of the year. We just do not have color here on the trees, like you all up North. Our trees turn brown and fall off...Beautiful place

Lovely! You've still got quite a bit of green, and what a beautiful display that Sumac bush gives you. Well worth keeping just for that.

I love your header Ruth! The fall colors are brilliant this year, but down here they are fading fast, and we are predicted a bit of the white stuff next week. Good thing we have our photographs to look at when we need some pretty colors.
