A Splash Of Color to Close The Year

Christmas 2018 has come and gone and the year is drawing to a close.
I love the fresh layer of snow we got, just in time for Christmas and hope we get lots more, but I think it's time to inject some color into this blog.
The following are obviously pictures taken over the last summer or two.
I trust that as you look at these pictures, you see the beauty, but also the detail and design, created by God.

I have said it before, some flowers look as lovely from the back side as from the front. This Sunflower is a perfect example.

From the bold, bright color of a Sunflower to the delicate blush of color of Apple blossoms.
Even in bud stage they have this delicate quality.

The Lilac symbolizes spring to me. I wait for these blossoms each year. Each tiny bloom is joining together with those around it to create a beautiful bouquet.

The bold, rich color of the Fern Leaf Peony is a thrill to see. I am so thankful that a dear friend gave me this plant some years ago.

The bud opens to reveal this lovely,Carnation like, flower.

Something to Think About:
Take a good look at God's wonders---
They'll take your breath away.
Psalm 66:5
(The Message)

  3. These are all beautiful, and reveal the intricate design of God. I don't think I even have a favorite, they are all my favorites! I love this bible verse, and immediately went and looked it up in other translations. I like the one you used the best though, The Message?

  7. Bright and beautiful in deed!
The hand of God is certainly seen in each and every detail of His creation and we may miss the beauty if we are not careful in taking the time to slow down and look around our world.
Life can grab a hold of us so quickly that we forget to stop and smell the roses, soak in the beauty and enjoy.
Such a beautiful posting to end this year, thank you for sharing.

    God bless you~
