A Smile

I hope this post will bring a smile to your face, if not because of the words then because of the pictures.

A smile costs nothing, but gives much,
It enriches those who receive, without making poorer those who give,

It takes but a moment, yet the memory of it may last forever.
A smile creates happiness in the home, fosters goodwill in business and is the sign of friendship.

It brings rest to the weary, cheer to the discouraged, sunshine to the sad,
And is nature’s best antidote to trouble, yet a smile cannot be bought, borrowed or stolen;

For it is of no value to anyone else unless it is given away.

Some people are too tired to give you a smile,
Give them one of yours.

No one needs a smile as much as those who have none to give.

SMILE!!!!

Good Evening, Oh your photos are spectacular. The lilac was my late mom's favorite. As I was creeping along on a downtown sidewalk today, a young man looked me in the eye and smiled and nodded. Much appreciated and made my day. Your delightful posts and photos always bring a smile to my face. We are packing to move into a new home and I will be back to posting by Apr. 1. God bless you.

I so agree with you...a smile can just make a persons day, or make them not feel so bad. And I loved your pics.

Hi Ruth, I almost stopped blogging but decided to give it another go. One of the main reasons is the kind and encouraging comments you have left for me. And I was delighted to see you were one of the first to give me comments as I'm getting restarted. You have been an inspiration for me and there is no doubt about it. I see you are still posting wonderful pictures and words here on your blog. Yes, you are one of the best out there. Thanks again and have a great day! John
