After an absence of over six months from blogging, I have decided to jump back in. I will not be posting every day, I do that on Facebook and Instagram, but I will put out an occasional post here in Blogland.
I am starting with a collection of images from one tree. This is referred to at my house, as The Tree. It is more like a cluster of trees but together they have a beautiful shape.
For those who follow me on Facebook, this same post was published there a few weeks ago.
This first image was captured in early November, several years ago. The Tree is barren and all around it looks fairly lifeless.
The second picture is one taken in August a few years ago. The tree is vibrant with life and the fields around it are rich with color.
The next three photos are all from January 2023. We had a spell of hoar frost, which in turn created so much beauty

I was out that way several times and some days the fog was heavy, almost hiding The Tree. In my opinion it still was a picture of beauty.
The Tree was turned into an artistic scene with only a few simple edits.
One cluster of trees and so many varied scenes.
To Think About:
The beauty of creation reflects the beauty of our Creator.
The beauty of creation gives us reasons to sing God’s praise.

OH Ruth! I am SO happy to have you back here in blogland! I do enjoy your posts on Facebook, but I love your dialog along with the pictures and to be able to converse with you here. These pictures of this tree(s) is magnificent!! I LOVE how you captured all of the seasons of its life. So gorgeous. I especially love the winter scenes. Stunning! Welcome back!
Welcome back, I have missed you! I am glad I remained hopeful, and did not remove you from my sidebar! Wonderful, beautiful tree through the seasons! My favorites are the third and the last.
What a wonderful series. Love it.
Welcome back, Ruth! You were missed, my friend!
It's good that I see you back blogging! And I look forward to seeing your photography once again.
Good to see you here, you already know I love this tree and its many faces. it is beautiful no matter the season
Hi Ruth, Great to see you back! And a great post to come back with, too! I love the way you focused on the one tree(s) and the differences are exceptionally interesting. I spent several minutes reflecting on how the first three images can relate to stages of life, barren at first, in bloom mid-life, and white-haired, quiet, and peaceful at last. Thanks so much for coming back to Blogland. John PS Love the header and slogan: “Capturing the beauty of nature, one click at a time.” Perfect!
Welcome back! Thanks for sharing this beautiful study of The Tree.

So nice to see you back blogging again Ruth. I've sure missed seeing your beautiful photos.
Wonderful to see so many different pictures of this beautiful tree.
Good to see you again. Excellent shots!
Welcome back, Ruth!
It's great to see you blogging again after such a long break. I love the pictures of The Tree, it's amazing to see how it changes throughout the year. It's a beautiful reminder of the cycles of life and the beauty that can be found in even the simplest things.
It's truly awe-inspiring to think about how every aspect of nature, from the smallest blade of grass to the grandest mountain range, showcases the majesty and power of God. It's no wonder that nature often inspires us to sing God's praise and express our gratitude for the world around us. Thank you, Ruth for sharing these uplifting words in the NICE quote.
I'm so glad you're posting again, Ruth. These pictures are wonderful. The snow covered tree is stunning. There is a tree kind of like this here that I admire on each drive to church. Once I tried to stop and take a picture, but it can be a busy road and I was too nervous to take more than one less that great shot. I may need to work on trying to find a spot where I can stop and snap seasonal pictures of it. God's creation is sometimes most stunning in something as simple as a tree. A flower. A cloud... You managed to capture God's glorious creation in a way that I am inspired.
It is wonderful in all seasons...but I do love the hoarfrost...
